and i also think it all makes some sense as a business proposition. but the way they have handled it has been an utter botch job...

the thing that amazed me most was that after the outcry and subscriber loss, hastings came out with that tin ear "apology" letter that clearly demonstrated that they still had no real idea just how much they had pissed their customer base off.
