It'll be interesting to see how they fare in football. Their recent record against the SEC has been stellar...

The other thing about the SEC that outsiders don't really understand...

(And I think that out of the Big 12, Missouri's scheme translates the best to that sort of brutal schedule.) -- nm

I'm actually excited about the possibility. But I'll be real bummed to lose the Mizzou/KU basketball rivalry. That's my favorite Mizzou rivalry

I fully support this move, based on my previously mentioned criteria (Not FSU, not VT) -- nm

At this point, the fate of the Big 12 is in Texas' hands.

Ain't happening. Boren is taking OU to the Pac 12/14 becuase he knows he'll forever be at the whims of UT.

Totally agreed. But the Baylor lawsuit concern has everyone hesitant to take the first step.

My comment is Big 12-specific. I'd like to see Baylor sue Pitt and Syracuse though :) -- nm

TT/OSU can go pound sand. Let them look for another conference. MWC? WAC? Replace them with TCU. -- nm

End of the day, the Big 12 is done...the other schools will figure out that the UT/OU thing is a sham for them and will bolt.

I think they're done also, but I do think the UT/OU network would salvage the conference.

That's code for "figuring out how not to get sued by Baylor" I think.
