I've known of their existence this the extent of the following:

My grandmother was one of, I think, four daughters. Three of them emigrated to the US in their late teens/early 20s. One remained back in Ireland, and one of the three US-bound returned to the homeland. Of the two that decided to make their lives in Ireland, one had children. Her children would be my Dad's cousins. Their children would be me (second? third? cousins). I get the impression that the ones who might be meeting me are my Dad's generations ones, though I can't be sure.

A few family members went to Ireland in the late 70s I think and met these folks.
