My Aunt (who married in, she isn't even blood) is big into genealogy. Her father is also from the old country (I knew him as Grandpa growing up because he lived down the street, and I had no living grandpas) so she did Irish genealogy for her family and her husband's (my Dad's brother's) family. And then she and a couple of her daughters went to Ireland (not sure if my Uncle went. I was a toddler at the time)
