I don't think they can remain independent for much longer, though I'd like them to, and Michigan, Michigan St., and Purdue are such huge rivalry, and exciting rivalry games...

On the other hand, if they're not going to remain independent then recruiting, or access to recruiting, becomes paramount.

I just hope whatever happens they keep their tv contract; I'd hate to not be able to watch them every weekend with my dad. Of course if there was a conference package (for whatever conference they joined) I'd no doubt end up buying that every year. Though obviously I'd rather not have to.
