my problem with fantasy hockey is not about the stats and/or the ability to track them.

I don't feel that fantasy sports work well without the weekly matchup model, and hockey is far too focused on roster swaps to maximize games played. I'm not interested in grinding out a fantasy team - it's far too much like work than fun. It's way more about who can dedicate all their time to pouring over stat sheets.
