yeah, he wasn't necessarily wrong. 20 Year Old Mel would have been pissed off and offended. 40 Year Old Mel nods and acknowledges that the Ole Grumpy Guy had a point. The problems you think are so overwhelming at 20 are welcomed as trivial later. I figure that's what every 20 years of life or so does...makes the problems of the last 20 years seem silly.
You have a right to your feelings but ho'boy can you get mocked.
But he was still a Grump. And that was 20 years ago.
