Question For Canadians: Jeffery Simpson has been saying that Quebec's repeated voting for the Bloc, despite low sovereignty approval, means they...

....Are sending a message to the rest of Canada that they no longer see themselves as part of Canada as a federation, working together and such, but rather they see Canada as an entity to simply continue to extract money and benefits from.

"By voting Bloc for six consecutive elections, the largest number of francophones in Quebec turned their backs on Canada, while not expecting that the rest of Canada would ever turn its back on Quebec . . . "

My question: In your opinion, does the repeated disengaging of the majority of Quebec from the actual governance of the country represent a threat to national unity even if sovereignty itself is waining?
