She is going to doctor's appointments with him, and she'll stay there overnights when he has chemo or radiation and needs someone.

She has told me that although she can't live with him right now (I think that 35 yrs of "you don't like it? Go ahead, leave." finally got to her. Which knowing my dad's personality, I get.), she will always be there for him. This may or may not work out, she may be back eventually. Who the hell knows.
