Certainly women are having children at later times in their lives, but it's also true that many women struggle and have to deal with fertility medications and in vitro to get there. And some (like my wife) just can't ever get there. Not to say that you or others approaching 40 should worry, just saying it's not an ureasonable concern when she's looking at it as starting all over from scratch.
