This is true for most players, and others are probably on the decline when the sample size is large enough.

Jeter probably has as many playoff games (152) as anyone currently playing. And even with him it varies quite a bit by postseason.
That said, 31 playoff games with an OPS under .640 is not good given what Tex is being paid.
