So many people are (unfortunately) incapable of thinking outside of black-and-white politically.

It's the reason for the "I'm right, you're wrong, no compromise, no middle ground" issue we see in politics today.
And it feeds into this person who can't see that it's not "corporations good" vs "corporations bad". But rather it's in between: Corporations are fine, but the balance of corporate vs citizen power has gotten far too skewed and needs to be addressed.
But expecting people to think in any level of nuance in the US today is like expecting a six year old to eat brussel sprouts.
