On that note, when in the world did Transformers get so freaking difficult?!

Some friends and I were messing around some this weekend and even though these were supposedly a "3" on a scale of 1-5 (apparently now they even have levels of difficulty...) we couldn't for the life of us figure out how to transform them into robots or how to get the back to vehicles afterwards. Are kids actually able to figure these out? They're like puzzles.
