I think i just had the most exhausting weekend of my life.

started with a three hour trip, then: getting up a 5 or 6 am thre days in a row. emptying house lived in for 30 years (including a separate two car "garage" that was really a working mechanics garage of a man who threw nothing out). discovering an entire ROOM (separate dug out cold cellar - 4 ft x 20ft that you didn't know existed full of stuff. organizing a garage sale, holding a garage sale, driving an hour each way to pick up a uhaul. thanksgiving dinner. being expected to get up and drive someone home halfway through thanksgiving dinner because they were in a bad mood (see notes on brother and girlfriend below). waiting around 90 minutes when you are ready to leave to do a favour to a teenager you barely know because i was the only sober driver. dealing with an 88 year old woman leaving her house for the last time. dealing with a 17 year old who had surgery on his elbow after breaking it two weeks ago who insisted he could 'help' and kept hurting himself. scattering dave's dad's ashes. dealing with this older brother and his girlfriend (staying in the room next to ours) getting drunk and fighting, for two days solid. arranging for scrap metal to be picked up. moving furniture out of house. driving home three hours in two cars. taking nico downtown to train for 6pm. coming back, moving bed/crazy heavy handmade wardrobe/and desk up 2 flights of stairs. returning uhaul. drive back home. put furniture in place. collapse.

Happy F'in Thanksgiving. Beautiful weather though.
