he's aging (32 already)
he's injury-prone (I think 128games a year the last 3)

and given he was still riding Ellsbury (the one MVP guy who didn't shrink in September) for the medical flap last year until late this summer...

His value is higher outside the organization then continuining inside it is my guess. Get out while the getting's good.
