I couldn't believe Clay would do that either - I'm still not convinced he has a good enough reason.
--He said it himself, if the club ever found out that he murdered John Teller in cold blood while fucking his old lady, they would (literally) kill him. Personally, I think he's more worried about losing all the power than being dead.
this season did not really get interesting until last night - I think the 1st couple of episodes that were written - were written with emmy performances in mind - meaning - the heavy conversations between characters - ( Gemma + Unser). no real action til last night.
--I have to disagree with you there. It pretty much grabbed me the first ep when they slaughtered all the Russians (including the undercover FBI dude) during Opie and Lila's wedding. I think the Gemma/Unser conversations have been really important because they gave us some background we didn't know. I think that it's pretty obvious now that Gemma is the love of Unser's life and the reason he always did what he could for the club (and still does). I knew they'd been friends since she was a teenager, but I had no idea how deep it went until this season. The rest of the stuff has been maybe a little boring, but it all had to happen to set up the season.
Do we really think SAMCRO would care if Juice was half black? really? he should have gone to someone - I mean Jax was being blackmailed by the ATF and he let the crew know... that gunshot scene last night was bloody and icky. yikes. and yeah - Chibbs is going to lay him low.
--The black thing has been bugging me too until last night when Juice sort of brought it up with Chibbs. Remember, Chibbs said it was written in the bylaws and "once you start choosing which rules you want to follow, the whole thing falls apart." So there's evidently a "no blacks" rule from back in the beginning that has never been changed. I think he should have gone to Jax and told him. Then it would have been brought up in a meeting and a vote taken that could have changed it. Instead he let the police chief scare him and he totally panicked. Now, he's going to be at the beck and call of the US attorney and the Chief and I can only see it ending badly for him. That whole Russian Roulette thing was chilling and that shooting was the worst. I really admire John Sutter (the writer/director who also plays the imprisoned Otto)for taking these kind of chances. It makes the Sopranos look like Romper Room in comoparison.

--I didn't catch it in the credits, but I could swear she's Veronica Mars' computer nerd buddy, all grown up. If she wasn't Tina Marjorino (sp?) she's a close facsimile.
I don't feel bad for Ima at all - she is a glory seeking slut. She was crawling up on Jax even though she knew about Tara and she turned on her friend Lyla. she had it coming and the gun with the baby in the room - well that was the last straw.
--Did you see that smirk she gave Gemma and Tara when she came walking out? She was proud of it. I totally lost it laughing when Gemma looked at her, then nodded over at Tara and said, "You better stay away from this one, she'll rip your tits off." Bitch thought she was so all that, I couldn't belive she was all up on Jax after all the shit went down. Not only is she a "whore!" (as Jax said) she's just too damn stupid to live.
I really thought Jax was going to kill her.
--Me too, but he's gotten better with his anger issues. When Lila told Opie about the abortion, it was just heart breaking. They both realized she could never be what he needed and wanted. It was sad.
I think Gemma is going to end up killing Clay to protect Jax, Tara, and her grandkids. Yeah, he's her husband, but he's mistreated her some and she's definitely not into that shit he's doing now and face it, "blood" is more important to her. I also think she's got money socked away somewhere that he doesn't know about.
