The question was why he's not considered a club house leader...that's because of how he handled his injury. Pedroia's injury was different but no less severe and yet he stuck with the team. I'd imagine that means something in the clubhouse. Obviously it does given the apparent respect Pedroia has of the locker room and Ellsbury lacks.
