The latest developments with McGee and Abby's families are STUPID. with the other characters, at least the family drama makes sense and explains things to us. In some cases it even drives the story arc. But these two storylines are totally pulled out of the writers' asses.

The one thing I will say is they did good casting with Abby's brother.
