I guess with the Red Sox, is that it fits the narrative of the typical former champion descent. Scuffling and injury prone veterens. Young guys not growing up. Etc. Etc. That's sorta why I would see the opportunity there.

(Not the least to mention that I think the Yanks got their Dead Cat Bounce this season and will fall back as well next year.)
