I don't know about his specific type, but the average life exp. after diagnosis for it in general is 3-6 months.

it especially sucky because by the time there is diagnosis for most patients, it's already advanced.
even if tumors are operable, recurrence rates are really high.
I just looked up the whipple procedure mentioned - it has a 5 year survival rate of 20%, with most patients living less than 2.
some random person on some random website who doesn't know specifics speculating about what's what really ticks me off. hope he is never diagnosed with it. wish no one ever is.
