It took me a minute to realize the quoted person was wrong.
I understand the sentiment, to a very small degree, i.e. frustration that we have to treat monsters with more respect than they gave their victims, but really, that's a base emotion. That's something you voice in frustration, to yourself, get it out of your system and then move on. That's not something you act on, or try to legislate. It's a part of living in a civil society for crying out loud, we ain't in Judge Dredd territory yet.
And for fucks sake, at least attribute the quote accurately you idiot.
