there was a vignette at the beginning about the murder of two girls in the house back in the 60s, when the house was apparently a girls home or sorority house or something like that.
present day dad gets a call from a girl back in boston, saying she's pregnant. he flies out to help her get an abortion. before that, though, he met with a rather odd girl who is a new patient.
while he's gone, rather odd girl and 2 others break into the house and want to kill the wife and daughter as an homage to the late 60's killing.
the denizens of the house, including psycho teenage boy patient, do in the evildoers.
the only other thing that really happened was that the wife's pregnancy is now common knowledge to everyone.
