For Kelly from B2:

If it helps, a friend of mine recently had her daughter by emergency c-section at 33 weeks. The baby girl did have to spend a couple of weeks in the hospital and on a ventilator but baby and mom have come home in the last week and both are doing very well. The baby was around 3.5 pounds when it was born.

Its amazing how much doctors know from ultrasounds and medical checkups these days and can catch a lot of things that would have been very serious only 10 years ago. Ask questions of the doctor to make sure you and Will are prepared for everything and know what might come up.

And if you have not already. Register for prenatal classes. They can go a long way in making you comfortable about whats coming up.
