Obama is already campaigning against Congress, which is a nice start.

And trying to force his jobs bill through one piece at a time should give him plenty of fodder against the GOP.
If the Dems in Congress could pull their shit together and act as a bloc I'd feel a lot more comfortable with Obama's chances next year.

The Dems might want to point out that so far most of the Reps economic plans pretty much hinge on making everyone who isn't a millionaire pay more tax
