i had insisted time and again (and jeff, i thought, concurred) that we wanted an intimate, small wedding filled with people we, you know, actually *know*. people who *we* chose to invite.

we ended up inviting them. still pisses me off.

any chance you could have Dave's son there for the wedding then he could go home with someone else right after? (though I'm sure you've thought of this)
