speaking of familial expectations (more p-word, sorry), we are seriously considering not notifying a soul when i go into labor

maybe let people know a few hours after.
and then not allowing visitors for at least a week, maybe two, after we get home.
heads will explode.

Because of C-section, some people know.....but no visitors other than immediate family for the first few days....

my siblings did this. I just got phone calls saying "Surprise! baby's here!" which was kind of awesome in its own way.
