I gave myself some time after being laid off to try to find a job that I actually wanted, but when I got to the point that I decided to take any job I could get, it didn't take long. Of course, I absolutely loathe my job and can't wait until I get myself into a situation where I can afford to quit it and allow myself the time to look again for a job I want.
