One of my wife's deadbeat cousins (how many wives do I have?) has a baby (under 1 yr) in the foster system and we're being asked if we'd consider being foster parents. I shocked myself by how quickly I said yes. In fact, I emphatically said we *had* to do this. It's my understanding that if CPS is asking you, they're pretty hard up and it's quite likely to happen.
