So they immediately took off with assault rifles and had themselves a shooting spree? Have they never heard of trank guns?

The sheriff's statement was ridiculous. Does he really mean you can only see wild animals like this when you're IN Africa?

And why in the everloving hell did the reporter feel the need to tell us the sordid details of Mr. Mazzola's death? I sincerely doubt his kinky games had anything to do with Mr. Thompson and his animals.

Oh yeah, one more thing sheriffdude--lions, tigers, wolves, girrafes, and grizzly bears don't hide in trees, they're all non-climbers. Leopards and cheetahs do when they want to lie in the sun, but at night they hunt or nest in grass. Black bears will climb a tree if they smell food, but normally don't.

It's good to know that stupid rednecks aren't solely confined to the south.
