I've read several news stories in the past few weeks that stated even employers with several jobs open won't hire the unemployed person. It's like

they have a contagious virus or something. Instead, they headhunt at various companies taking people who already have jobs, instead. Then the cycle starts again, the new company has an opening and they won't even consider an unemployed person.
Gotta love those "job creators"
