I'm looking in Brooklyn. Greenpoint, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst and Midwood mostly.

Greenpoint is the closest I could afford to live to Manhattan. Bay Ridge is looking the most likely place.

$1200-$1400 doesn't go very far. :-(
