I'm not meaning to harsh your futuristic mellow, I just don't see how those things will change with the use of technology

there'll probably be more e-textbooks than there are now, but I don't know that they'll be cheaper - the price of textbooks is only slightly related to printing costs. And high tuition costs are an American thing - I sure don't pay $10k per semester - and some places it's even free.
