we'd get asked by cops where we were going over Christmas break when entering the apartment because they would think we were breaking into the restaurant. Had to bring one of them up once to show them it was our place.

The best part was the owner just piped up TV and electricity from the bar so other than rent we just paid phones. It worked out to be like $250/person which was insane.
