i have one pretty much done, it's just circles of colorful paper on long strings of fishing line.

that one will go above the diaper changing area.

the second, for above the crib, i can't decide what to do. i was going to paint wood owls and flowers but then i got hung up on doing something that's angled toward the baby so she can see them. so now i'm wondering if i need to sew the owls and birds (or something else) and hang them at an angle. but will the big owl eyes give her nightmares? will she get rockwell stuck in her head?

i am also maybe thinking of painting some branches white and sticking butterflies on the branches at an angle where she can see. or sewing butterflies??
