wooden shapes you could totally hang at an angle.

so like, if it was going to hang perfectly horizontal, you'd drill the hole dead center. so if your owl is 3" by 2", you'd measure 1" in and 1.5" down and put the hole. but say you want it to tilt. then measure 1" in from the side, but say, only 1.4" down. you'd have a slight weight imbalance that would cause tilt.

or, alternatively, use two pieces of line of slightly different length.
