Now that I have an iPad, I've rediscovered Zinio for digital magazines.

Remember when you'd sign up for those free magazine subscriptions, but they all turned out to be digital magazines and to read them, you had to download some stupid piece of software just to browse what was basically a PDF? Yeah, I just installed the Zinio app on my iPad and I've got dozens of magazines waiting for me.
It's fun. It's basically a competitor to Apple's newsstand, although I think I see some overlap.
I've already contacted customer service for a number of the magazines I apparently still receive and asked to switch to their digital version. Interesting fact: I subscribe to a lot more magazines than I thought. I read NONE of them.
