me, for a cheap throwaway, Orson Scott Card's Empire....
for soemthing that was supposed to be quality -- anything by William Faulkner.
OSC's book was so bad that if someone bon-fired it, it'd be a worthy endeavor.
Faulkner's was so useless, it made me question the necessity of AP Lit.
