In a nutshell...the Cardinals had the wrong pitcher warming up in the 8th inning...

which left Rzepcinski out there to face Napoli (who hit the game winning 2-run double) instead of having Jason Motte come in.
It resulted in a pitching change only to have that pitcher intentionally walk someone...and we lost 4-2.
Who knows where the fault actually lies...but LaRussa is doing what he always does, which is make a spectacle of himself by saying stupid things to help get the media attention off of the team and onto him.
