so, I'm on campus today, and there's a guy w/ a stand set up selling jewelry, old coins, etc. ... and I'm thinking I wish I had more $$ ....

he has some old Chinese coins that by all rights have to be at least some percentage silver content. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about old Chinese coins (just did a bing image search and these are a lot like some dating back to early 1900s), so i don't know their exact "collectability" value .... but like I said, silver content? yeah...going at a bit over $30 an ounce right now, these coins are probably worth $20+ just for their metal content...
the kicker? he was only asking $3 a piece for the coins.
Am I wrong in feeling like i should be selfish and snatch up all over those coins, then turn around and make a profit selling to some place that buys "all your scrap gold and silver" ???
I mean, I *am* a Capitalist, after all .....
