It's not 100% but when you do get Chicken Pox it's much much milder. Be glad he got the vaccine -- nm

Yep. Not sure how recently it was developed, but it is strongly encouraged because chicken pox can reemerge in adults as shingles. -- nm

There's also a shingles vaccine now. My doc gave me one earlier this year. -- nm

Well...the vaccine hasn't been all that great. Unless you get boosters you can get chicken pox as an adult.
