focus groups and other marketing research can be fun. In San Fran I would be in one every couple months, some paid several hundred.

I remember one time I was supposed to look at some ads while they had my face against this frame, I knew what they were up to, they were going to track my eyes to see what I looked at, how long etc. I tried my hardest but dayam, I looked right at the girls tits, couldn't help myself. (ads for fuji film)
OH btw, you got paid well, when they did studies like that in San Fran all you got was a $5 McDonald's coupon.
seriously, I think I gave ATT the idea to give cell phones away with a longer contract. when they first started they were a couple hundred bucks for that brick, (this was back in the days of a lunchbox sized phone if they couldn't install one in the car which was the original concept of it.
