Anyone else have a situation in which their SO is in contact w/someone in your family a lot more frequently than you are?

Heather and my sister have become pretty good friends and correspond a lot. I don't talk to my sister frequently these days, so it always kinda surprises me when I hear they've been talking about this or that.
