A nice little story about my son as told by my wife earlier today.

So I forgot about being the tooth fairy last night. Tyler wakes up and comes to the bathroom. Asks me to turn off the hairdryer so it wont bother him. Says while pouting, And the tooth fairy didnt even come last night. My tooth is still there.

I felt terrible.

While hes in the bathroom, I go downstairs and get $2 out of my wallet. Hes still in the bathroom and Samantha is still in her room. I go into his room, put in the $2 and take out the tooth. I say, Tyler, are you sure that your tooth is still there? He comes back to check. He says, Huh? I know my tooth was there when I woke up? I say, The tooth fairy must have just come. Did you see her? Samantha, did you see her? Wow, shes fast!

He didnt question a thing. Childhood innocence lives on to see another day.

As a side note, Samantha was upset, saying that shell never get a visit from the tooth fairy. Tyler says, Samantha, you can have one of my dollars.

He loves his little sister. They are such a good team. Way beyond anything I expected.
