i don't normally do it (i get desperately thirsty lately so i might take a swig of a bottle of water, but that's it)

still, she's 8 months preggers and could have been feeling really faint/sick and needed something RIGHT now (not sure what his excuse would be).
the smarter move would have been to pay for them at the deli counter but still - i think it sounds like an honest mistake and they took it way too far.
