Ultimately, were the classes worth it, or a waste of money?
There is now debate over whether I need a c section at all, but I am hesitant to pay for and take another class that I may not need.
Thanks!

I'm thinking that if you've had sisters, friends etc go through it, are close to mom and aunts then you probably know much of it, If like so many ...

On the first day of class, the instructor asked as all what we hoped to get out of the class. My answer?

We're glad we took them. The lessons helped, and the common vocabulary gave us an important way to talk during the stress of childbirth. -- nm

I think that, if nothing else, it helps to get the dad a little more acclimated to stuff

We didn't take classes for either of our boys. Always seemed like a waste of money to me.

Very much so. They included a tour of the hospital facilities we would be using, which was really great to have done. -- nm
