Related to the Halloween pics

A local school was doing a Halloween party/fundraiser. We were excited to take Nick, particularly since I'm not sure if he's going to get much trick or treating done in our neighborhood.

I wanted Zoe to have a costume, even though she doesn't actually know or care about ballerinas or any of that. After 2-3 tries and some screaming, she decided the dress was tolerable and off we went.

So the school had rented a bouncing castle, which both my kids loooooooove. We waited in line and paid our $3 and they had a great time. Then their turn is over and Zoe goes apeshit because she doesn't want to get out. We stand in line again and pay another $3 and the crisis is temporarily averted.

After we explained that she's autistic and just really likes the sensation of bouncing, the teamster guy running the bounce house let her sit on the front part of the castle for the remainder of the night. As you can see from the picture, she was soooo happy and we were touched by the dude's kindness.
