We always have too much, live on a cul de sac and haven't had a ton of kids in the past.

Of course we leave the house empty for an hour or so while we take the kids out, but I always leave the candy bowl by the front door and last year it looked the exact same when we came back. Probably had no more than 7 or 8 kids the whole night last year and the year before.
