also, they only differentiate color-wise (in Chicago at least) by type of system, not individual lines within that system

for example, all the El trains are the same color, with no indication of whether or not you would need to switch trains to get from point A to point B.

Also they don't let you choose to exclude or include particular modes of transit from the map.
