When pressed, the 1st grader admits, embarrassed, that the offending phrase used was "butt naked".
As in "my brother farted before his shower, and he was butt naked. it was so funny!"
In your opinion, is that inappropriate language?

I think the "farting" at that age is more inappropriate then "butt naked." -- nm

not entirely appropriate during class but I don't like that nakedness and natural body processes are made out to be wrong -- nm

Speaking of farting, I was talking to a guy at his cube, he reached up to turn on his little fan

Incorrect at best. It's "buck naked", right? I'm just surprised the "farted" wasn't the offending word. -- nm
