I was subjected to one of the oddest/yet uplifting conversations while riding into work...

3 boys, maybe early twenties on their way to work and school. They were talking about how hard it was for a playa to get paid, how it was hard to stay righteous, how there was temptation to go out and thug...how the shorties with the big butts were all over the places (almost a quote).
It was jarring in it's delivery, honesty and earnest.
When there was just one left, sitting next to me, I leaned over and told him, "stay in school. It's the best thing you can do for yourself right now. I didn't and it was really hard." I smiled, he smiled and nodded back. I felt good a little bit. I hope he listens.
